Scott E. Encher has concentrated his practice in the area of plaintiff's personal injury trial work throughout his career. Scott is a skilled litigation attorney with extensive experience in state and federal courts. Throughout his career, Scott has handled a variety of cases including construction negligence, aviation, transportation and motor vehicle litigation, premises liability, product liability and wrongful death cases.

Scott has obtained numerous settlements and verdicts totaling in the millions of dollars. He has worked on numerous high‑profile cases, including litigation resulting from the 1999 crash of Alaska Airlines Flight 261, which resulted in a settlement of more than $6.5 million. Being instrumental in obtaining a multi‑million dollar settlement on behalf of a man catastrophically injured when he was struck by a tractor‑trailer, obtaining a settlement in excess of one million dollars on behalf of a construction worker who suffered bilateral shoulder injuries, and playing a key role in obtaining a seven‑figure settlement on behalf of a pedestrian who sustained a traumatic brain injury after being struck by a truck are just some examples of his prior successes.

Scott has represented a variety of clients throughout Illinois, including: Boone, Bureau, Champaign, Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Fulton, Grundy, Jefferson, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, La Salle, McHenry, McLean, Peoria, Tazewell, Vermillion, Will, and Winnebago counties. These clients include union tradesmen injured on construction sites, mothers and newborns injured during the birthing process, commuters involved in municipal transportation incidents, and customers hurt by defects and dangerous conditions in shopping centers, stores and restaurants. While zealously representing his clients, Scott has always maintained a professional and collegial relationship with his opponents, which has as earned their respect as well as the respect of the judges before whom he appears.
