Julian E. Zito

Julian E. Zito is an Associate Chicago personal injury attorney at Mark L. Karno & Associates, LLC, where he represents individuals injured due to negligence, with a focus on motor vehicle collisions, complex personal injury litigation, and premises liability. Since joining the firm, Julian has played a key role in securing multi-million-dollar results for clients. In fact, he was recently honored as a Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Attorney by The National Trial Lawyers Association.

Julian is an active member of the Illinois State Bar Association and serves on both the Tort Law Section Council and the Civil Practice & Procedure Section Council, where he contributes to statewide legal scholarship and legislative review. Julian earned his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law in 2020. While in law school, he worked on high-stakes civil matters with the City of Chicago and provided pro bono services to veterans through UIC’s Veterans Legal Clinic. He began his career as a prosecutor in Winnebago County, where he conducted multiple jury trials, and quickly advanced to the Felony Review Unit. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Pre-Law Political Science with a minor in Philosophy.
